Mechanical Repairs
If the parts are available, we can carry out many mechanical repairs to a good standard.
Mechanical repairs generally refer to any repairs required on the chassis side of your touring caravan. At the point of the annual or chassis service, it can become apparent that some part of the mechanical operation of the vehicle may be in need of some maintenance or a repair.
We keep stock of lots of parts but if we do not have the parts required, we are usually able to obtain them within a couple of working days. We only use genuine manufacturer parts to enable us to carry out the best repairs possible.
Today it is possible to caravan abroad with ease and many of us do. The mileage covered by caravanners causes more wear & tear to your vehicle and so should be checked over annually. Whether your tyres are worn or just old, brakes not operating correctly, hitch a bit sticky or weak, or simply an awkward corner steady, we can help.
A chassis service can be carried out any time but is part of the caravan annual service. It is usually at the point of service that mechanical issues come to light and can quite often be dealt with at the same time providing we have stock of parts.
